Meet our national and regional partners

As well as the support provided by our in-house team, we work with a number of partners across the region, and on a national level, who have the expertise and local knowledge to help you reduce your emissions and energy bills.

Our national partners

Community Energy England

Community Energy England (CEE) is the only organisation dedicated to supporting and facilitating community energy organisations and the broader sector in England. As the voice of the sector, it is uniquely positioned to lobby government and advocate on behalf of community energy organisations and the sector as a whole. By fostering connections between practitioners and stakeholders and advocating for better support for the sector, CEE enables community energy organisations to take advantage of new opportunities, overcome barriers and to navigate the energy policy environment effectively. Green Economy

We have a strategic partnership with Green Economy, a not-for-profit organisation that helps UK businesses to decarbonise with advice, training and support that delivers long-term resilience, environmental credibility and financial savings. This partnership is intended to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and their employees through the energy transition in a way that is fair, proportionate and aligned with our social DSO strategy, ensuring that SMEs are not disadvantaged by decarbonisation, electrification and increasing network constraints. One of the first projects we have developed with Green Economy is our Empower training programme, designed to help local authorities develop their Local Area Energy Plans.

UK100

We are a member of UK100 which supports the most ambitious councils to go further and faster on their net zero and clean air targets. Local authorities have a unique leadership role in tackling the climate crisis and UK100's role is to foster collaboration with them. They facilitate knowledge-sharing between members, encourage partnership-building and provide leadership and outreach mentoring.
